Enriching through Emotional Intelligence

Bridging Hearts Across Australia

ELMA Education and Outback Mind Foundation

We’re proud to announce a meaningful partnership between ELMA Education and the Outback Mind Foundation - a collaboration built on shared values of emotional wellbeing, accessibility, and community impact.

Together, we’re bringing our neuroscience-backed emotional literacy programs to regional and rural communities across Australia, where mental health support is often scarce. This partnership ensures that no matter where a child, educator, business person or family lives, they can access the tools to build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and lifelong wellbeing.

We believe emotional intelligence shouldn’t be a postcode privilege. Through this partnership, we’re planting seeds of emotional strength where they’re needed most - fostering connection, compassion, and confidence from the inside out.

Because every mind - no matter how remote - deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

At School Programs

“With about 50 per cent of mental health disorders beginning before the age of 14 years, prevention and early intervention are paramount if we want to reduce lifetime prevalence of mental health disorders and allow children to live their best possible lives. Improving mental health for children and adolescents has therefore become an international priority.” Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.

At ELMA Education, we understand that emotional literacy is not just a personal skill but a foundational element in creating harmonious and effective learning environments. When children lack emotional literacy, it can lead to disruption in classrooms, affecting not only the learning atmosphere but also the well-being of both students and educators. This can result in diminished academic performance and potentially adverse health outcomes for everyone involved.

At Home Programs

The ELMA At Home Emotional Literacy Program is a neuroscience-based, self-paced resource designed for families with children aged 2 to teens, a program that grows with your family.

Using a powerful blend of play, art, colour, and sound therapy for children and connection and communication based therapies for teens, this 10-min-a-day program helps families build emotional intelligence together - improving communication, deepening connection, and equipping children with lifelong skills for mental wellbeing.

Grounded in evidence-informed research, the program supports emotional regulation, empathy, and resilience - empowering parents to be their child’s emotional coach in the safety of their own home.
