    With a profound passion for creating lasting impact and change, particularly in the mental health sector, Janet is eager to contribute her extensive experience and skills The Outback Mind Foundation. For 30 years, she has been a dedicated and successful leader in the not-for-profit space. Her background in Marketing, Fundraising, and Corporate Partnership Development has been the cornerstone of her career, allowing her to drive innovative campaigns and secure impactful partnerships.

    Currently, Janet serves as the CEO of Bully Zero, where she leads the mission to prevent and reduce bullying through education, advocacy, and support programs. Under her leadership, Bully Zero has significantly expanded its reach and impact, developing strategic partnerships with corporations, educational institutions, and community organisations. This role has further solidified her commitment to mental health and wellbeing as the organisation continually works to create safe and supportive environments for individuals of all ages.

  • Lois Lodding

    Lois is committed to bringing the efficiency of the private sector to the Nonprofit Sector. With an honors degree in Business Management and over 15 years of management experience in multinational, national, and local private companies, as well as Executive Management roles in the Mental Health Sector, she brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

    In addition to her professional achievements, Lois is also actively involved in various volunteer roles. She has served on the Gladstone Engineering Alliance Management Committee, Rotaract, Breaking the Cycle (PCYC), and most recently with IHEART, where she delivers resilience and well-being training in schools. She also has a passion for service in the healing space, running a homebirth company and facilitating Women's Circles.

    Lois's dedication to both the private and nonprofit sectors, as well as her commitment to giving back to the community, make her a valuable asset to Th Outback Mind Foundation Board.

  • Iain Wheatley

    Iain is a certified Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Throughout his career, Iain has led various clinical and non-clinical services, managed projects, developed businesses, and held high-level leadership and governance roles. His expertise lies in acute and sub-acute Mental Health and Alcohol, and Other Drug Fields. For the past 5 years, Iain has been providing Therapy in private practice in the Gladstone Area.

    Having lived, worked, and volunteered in Gladstone for over 35 years, Iain has a deep understanding of the community. He is passionate about working with men at risk and has dedicated countless hours to supporting them. Beyond his professional work, Iain actively participates in health promotion and educational activities. He enjoys facilitating Men's Circles and follows a spiritual practice that fuels his advocacy for enhancing health, wellbeing, and relationships for all.
